Service Area

West Des Moines Water Works service area is highlighted by the pink outline. West Des Moines Water customers in the NW and SE portion of the city receive water purchased from Des Moines Water Works.  All other areas are served primarily with water produced at the West Des Moines Water Works A.C. Ward Municipal Water Treatment Plant.  



Residents in certain portions of West Des Moines receive water from either Thorpe Water Company or Xenia Rural Water.
