Homeowner Responsibility

All customers connected to the West Des Moines Water Works system are responsible for the water service line into and throughout their home, starting from the water main.  The service line, curb valve and valves before and after the water meter are the property of the homeowner.  The below graphic indicates everything owned and maintained by West Des Monies Water Works.
