West Des Moines Water Works is now accepting applications for a Civil Engineer I or Civil Engineer II.

Successful candidates for Civil Engineer I will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field and one year’s experience in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, design work and/or construction. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with planning, designing, reviewing, and overseeing construction of water infrastructure. This candidate will also maintain and update the GIS system and distribution model.

Successful candidates for Civil Engineer II will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field and four years’ experience in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, design work and/or construction. The candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, designing, reviewing, and overseeing construction of water infrastructure. This candidate will also maintain and update the GIS system and distribution model.
